Robotics company 1X has formed a strategic partnership with Sweden's EQT, planning to provide up to 10,000 humanoid robots Neo to over 300 companies under EQT's portfolio between 2026 and 2030. This marks 1X's transition from the consumer market to industrial applications, such as manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics. Neo was originally positioned as a household robot, priced at $20,000, with the ability to perform domestic tasks.
